Volunteer With Us Today

Whether it’s a few hours or a full day, your time and talents help make STAY Anniversary Parky in the Park a true success. Sign up to be part of this first-of-it’s kind event in your local community.

Here’s a rundown of the help we’ll need on August 1st

• Set Up/Tear Down: All volunteers will have the chance to help the crew set up (Starting before noon) and tear down (After 6:00pm) on Event Day.

• Marketing: Help us spread the word by distributing our fliers, postcards, and posts online.

• Check-In Table: You’ll greet STAYs as they arrive, check them if they’ve registered online, hand out their merch bags if they’ve purchased one, and give them the lay of the land.

• Craft & Games: We’ll have a few different crafts (eg: make your own bag charm) and activities throughout the day. We’ll need your help managing resources, explaining rules, and supporting STAY.

• Face Paint/Temp Tattoo: If you have a talent for Face Painting or applying a temporary tattoo, we welcome your services.

• Runner: You’re going to be everyone’s favorite person today. Check in with our staff, vendors, DJ, and food trucks to help with small needs (water, directions, quick questions), and make sure everyone feels supported.

Special Note: There will be a short gathering to help us all get to know each other and prep for event day. This meeting will be Saturday July 25 and may be virtual or in-person. Specific times to follow but likely between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm

To be selected as a volunteer, you must commit to attending the pre-meeting or discuss with an organizer about alternative plans. At the meeting we’ll take some time to get to know one another, talk through the flow of the event, make sure everyone is clear on their roles for the day, address any questions you might have and just have a little fun. :)
